Presenting Vulci to the 21st Century
Our working at Vulci and visiting other Etruscan sites — namely, Tarquinia, Ceverteri, and Viterbo — have revealed a persistent and problematic gulf between research and communications. From these observations has emerged one of our prime directives: to fuse the two presently-independent elements into a cogent, effective, and enjoyable information interface to which they may collaboratively and extensively contribute. The resulting products would not only enhance visitors’ experiences but tangibly underscore researchers’ achievements.
